Throughout the year, REEPS actively participated in regional emergency preparedness initiatives to strengthen community resilience and build partnerships with emergency management organizations. Representatives attended the annual Slocan Valley Emergency Response & Preparedness meetings, participated in Provincial Emergency Support Services (ESS) training sessions, and took part in the Ready & Resilient Community Preparedness Fair on May 30, 2026. These activities provided valuable opportunities to collaborate with local governments, emergency responders, and community organizations, share knowledge, stay informed on best practices, and enhance REEPS' capacity to support wildfire preparedness, emergency response, and post-disaster recovery within the Red Mountain Road and Enterprise Creek communities.
